Once you get into the vocals; Hayden's voice is so soothing.
And hey, just to advert; 'yall should listen to Villagers. When I went to see Wild Beasts live about a
year or two ago; Villagers were the opening act. They're pretty great. Just thought I'd give you guys
the heads up. They're a good band. =)

For me; I had trouble getting into them as I started with Limbo, Panto but every release since then has been fine.
Glad 'Reach A Bit Further' is the next single. It's a fantastic song. Looking forward to seeing the video.
But yeah, Villagers are worth checking out.

On their 3rd LP 'Smother', English quartet Wild Beasts further refine their trademark sound, but this time they may have gone too far. The idea to use dual vocalists more prominently is a good one & some of the piano work is stellar. However, while the album does reveal itself as meticulously crafted on further listens, it's not quite worth the tough slog getting to that point. Furthermore, by tempering some of their more eccentric traits & slowing the pace right down, the record feels too sterile... Almost too perfectly put together, thus blunting the maturing lyrics. Recommended Tracks: Bed of Nails, End Come Too Soon & Reach a Bit Further.
