I think what also struck me about this was that it was a popular, platinum selling album in an era where Nu metal and industrial metal were pretty dominant on the charts, yet it doesn't really come across as a mainstream-sounding record. I mean, Push It is catchy, but none of the tracks feel like they were geared towards radio which is somewhat refreshing
