Yeah you pretty much nailed it. My feelings towards cmg are similar; I had a phase where I found them

incredible but recently I've grown tired of their totally out-there, meta style style.



Their recent James Murhpy/OF counterhype blogs were particularly exhausting.

on average though I'd say I prefer them to a lot of other outlets. Especially from publications that cover more obscure music.

sounds perfect and is perfect are two different things. i mean that this album took so long to perfect and sounds so meticulously crafted, and it comes out sounding, well, perfected. Best album he's released to date? I might be willing to go there.
