Thom's dance moves in the Lotus Flower video make this album an automatic 5

i just read the review, liked it, but obviously disagree
the songs don't feel like they're incomplete or anything to me. i like their simplistic nature

review doesn't sound clueless at all, its pretty detailed if you ask me
album's good but since I got Httt (finally) this has been sinking a bit, might even 3.5 it

Phew...I was really scared when I gave this another listen so I could rate it and decided it was just good...and that was it. Nothing more, nothing less.
There's not a lot of replay value IMO. But songs like Codex and Lotus Flower are great...Codex being absolutely amazing. But maybe that's my problem, I still prefer that sound and the sound they left in Hail to the Thief rather than what this band has become.
Oh well. Still a good album. Nice review.

Outside of one or two songs, this is really forgettable. That might change on more listens, but damn it's dense.
