Here we have eight songs that are each worth some thoughtful examination, filled with scattered moments of near-brilliance and a great deal of sonic navel-gazing, never remotely unpleasant to listen to but never particularly gripping either.
I agree so much with this ^ The members don't appear to be into the songs, and like you mentioned earlier, despite the obviously coated lyrical content, Tom doesn't match its suggested tone. Great review, Conrad, it was analytical and offers a more varied perspective.

Conrad I wish so much that I could write like you do. This review is pretty ace even if you are "rusty". Gotta disagree on the rating. I agree that "Feral" feels almost like an "odd-one-out" so to speak, at least in contrast with the rest of the album, and I do feel the momentum drops a little bit when it comes on but other than that I think the album works really well as both a whole and in most cases as individual songs as well.
