But they don't sell the original album master files, which is why we aren't.

Haha which ones?

Many songs they did between sounds of the universe and delta machina.

Haha yeah many of them have that darker, slower, moody vibe

The 80s/90s had some damn great CDs, such a shame that the format has become a laughing stock even though it's so handy and easy to play/rip.

Anyway @bloc everytime I see your avatar I always think "I'm sorry bloc" and imagine it turning into a lovecraftian beast.

Sabrutin, do you know of a place where you can buy digital with a good dynamic range?

Eh big sites are 7digital and HDTracks but it's a gamble. As long as sites don't start to publicly state the DR value then it'll always be a gamble and we'll have to hope for somebody to upload information about that edition on the loudness database.

Also beware that HDTracks has some bollocks regional locks, I live in Italy and most of the time I can't even buy stuff.

Yes, but doesn't that make everything pointless then? :[

Guess you can listen to the samples if you trust your ears.

Or just pirate everything from a Russian tracker and then buy the editions that satisfy you. I bought a very rare prog CD at a used market the other week and it's a version that sounds ass, buying music is quite really a gamble if you go blind.

(ftr I had a big suspect that it was a bad remaster but it costed nothing and I really wanted to own that piece haha)

I looooved it when I could catch it on the radio. It's basically their only song I hear on the radio other than Personal Jesus and Enjoy the Silence lol

Pretty sure I heard Masters & Servants on the radio which was very weird, although I may have been dreaming, idk.

You were definitely dreaming. I was in it.

Radio also plays Just Can't Get Enough, forgot about that one.

Precious is their best 21st century song, though I've never heard any of their album cuts

Tbh it's one of my least favorites here, in the sense that it's a cool little song but there's plenty of more interesting stuff in the album for me.
