Overall the community is much more tolerable these days. There were a lot of cool and knowledgeable peeps back then too, but you had to wade through all the trolls and neckbeards to find them.

I would regularly take like.....year long breaks from sput, as someone who has been here since like 2006 lol Definitely a lot nicer and less elitist now, although there were definitely some really cool and knowledgeable people then. Never got why people had to be so... hateful towards stuff like this or Pelican lol
