good review!, although i was a little dissapointed with Corey's voice on this album. Yes he does do better clean vocals but his screams arent low anymore theyre higher and a little annoying but aside from that and terrible guitar solos this album is great!

Slipknot's absolutely fucking terrible. If you think this little pop'y shit is metal...and if you think that's real screaming...go listen to ion dissonance, despised icon...plus an awesome hardcore band - No Warning...or Blue Tuesday. Kiss my ass.

I agree with sell-out, i dont like pulse of the maggots at all. And you^^ are an idiot. Diferent bands have different screams. Wat you did is like comparing Avenged Sevenfold to Lamb of God.

while slipknot isn't really a great band they are a good one, and while this album is not their best it certainly is pretty good.

Remember, when dealing with someone like this, don't break eye contact. Just continue to stare them down and bare your teeth. You must assert your dominance over them in order to curb their aggressive behavior and tempers.

Or, if you don't have the patience, we can just drag 'em into a back alley, give them a wallet to bite down on, and hack off their balls.

slipknot really does suck. no question about it. not metal not pop not anything. screaming is weak singing is forced and there drummer isnt nearly as good as people say. if you want a good drummer check out trivium or as i lay dying

you shpuld realise that im not being agressive or assertive im just displayimg the obvious truth. there are so many commercial aspects of slipknot it isnt even funny. they rely and hype and what we like to call "California Flash" rather than real substance. when three of your members dont actually play anything thats just stupid. showmanship should come the frontman and the band. not a couple of idiots running around. I'll admit that would be fun though. the masks, the fake bad assness its just a cover for lack of real talent. This Message Edited On 06.15.06

It seems that you can't spell for shit.
Just shut up, you big fat idiot. The fact that legions of fan boys love Slipknot doesn't make it thier fault. They make some pretty sweet music. If you can look at it from an unbiased perspective: they're nowhere near as good as the hype they get, but they are still better than most of the music out there.
It's not like your argument held much water anyway. It was made up of your personal bias, entirely lacking facts. This Message Edited On 06.15.06

there is know way to look at an album unbiasedly. the only way to analyze an album is to compare it with the other bands of its genre. obviously they arent the worst but i can think of so many bands that are a million times more talented in musicionship and lyical writing which is why i rate them so low on the metal chain. people are just to lazy to find good music and gobble up the crap that is thrown at them. also i dont see what my spelling has to do with my argument. who cares about spelling on a forum page

Some people actually like this "crap". Just because you don't like it doesn't meen were not "allowed" to like it.
