@ aokuneff:
@Irving -- i wanted to grab your attention.
And I fell for it like a green-horned rookie. Dammit! The new users are adapting!
But yeah, I think if you have at this thing one more time, the whole review will flow that much better. You've got potential dude, and I sincerely hope to read more from you soon. Sorry if I sounded like a douche the first time around, but I honestly can't help from switching off each time I encounter a line like that. At least we both learned something today! =)
@ Aids:
don't worry Irving, you know I like you, I just chuckle a little when you dissect reviews on sputnik like it matters. not like you shouldn't, constructive criticism is basically why I write on this site.
you know what I'm saying man, it's just funny to see
Yeah man. I think half the userbase has started to laugh because Sputnik's Nicest User 2010 has apparently become a bit of a grouch in recent times. Sowing couldn't stop poking fun at me for the first few days. Damn Ross (mutatedfreek) is still at it too!

Given Radiohead albums’ histories of aging gracefully, in 9 years’ time, it would not come as a
surprise if this is considered one of the ten best of the decade, if not in the top 5.
It's been out for 4 days and you draw that kind of conclusion? I hope to God that you're joking...

@tyraelxy: inventiveness makes initial reviews weak but bodes well in the long run. as everyone adjusts to this sound (and perhaps more importantly, if radiohead doesn't put out anything better), this is going to be regarded time-wise and content-wise as a pioneer for the decade. yea, it's early, but if kid a dominated the naughts like ok dominated the 90s, there's no reason this wouldn't play a major role in the 10's. of course you're right in that it's a guess and is based as much on their reputation as the music itself, but that's what a lot of those rankings do anyways.
tldr: yea, it's a serious possibility

I think you're onto something with TKOL being looked back upon as at least best 10. It's the same thing with OK Computer and Kid A. People hated it, and then people looked back and slapped themselves in the head.

i actually hated this album for the first minute of "Bloom", but then Yorke came in and everything clicked instantly, but if I hadn't been used to Yorke's voice it probably wouldn't have.
"Feral" didn't click with me until about 10-12 listens and my closest friend tells me "Codex" is one of the best tracks on the album, but I still don't hear it.

The King Of Limbs review i feel most identified with. Congratulations, I do think Codex is one of the best tracks here.
