Naw, I didn't hate it. I just thought the songs lacked substance and the production was too trebly..

Ugh... I loved In Ghost Colours and that makes this all the more disappointing.

You should make a monthly krap4music award and have this as the first winner.

Album cover is very Pink Floydy, I feel. Makes me think of the song Welcome To The Machine, for some reason.

also to reiterate a 3 is not a bad rating, but it's certainly not far from one.

The ambient house and psy-trance mixed with their New Wave-y progressions is a great direction for the band to have gone with, personally.

I'm just surprised, somewhat, while I could see you not enjoying this as much as IGC or Neon Love because it is certainly less direct than those two albums;

I'm still somewhat surprised it didn't grab you as effectively as it has me.

as I said earlier in the thread I find you and I generally agree when concerning tunes such as Cut Copy or the like.

So, umm, I'm surprised-ish. But this is pretty boss methinks.

esp. the first 3 tracks ohmuhgawd

Where I'm Going tis very nice.

This album just falls short of being a hipster's paradise though.

Think i might check this out later. Listening to some samples of it now and it kinda reminds me of a happier-sounding version of Depeche Mode. I could see myself liking this.

I enjoyed this as a fun, "don't analyze just listen" album. That being said, it all kind of melds together after the first 3 tracks and then goes to shit with "Sun God".
