Dang, forgot this was coming out so soon. Will get.

Everything in this review made me excited to listen to it, and wary at the same time.

there's really nothing on here that reminds me of the reasons I fell in love with TGUK in the first place but there's other, less good things about this album

i'm really surprised by the mixed response on this. the gritty production really adds a lot and the songwriting just seems so solid. a good mix between these mechanical or nearly electronic songs and raw punk sounds, while keeping the catchy choruses like on their previous albums.

Top heavy album for the most part

this is really great.

Don't really know what to make of this. Some parts are really promising and others are more of a what the fuck were you thinking.
Matt Pryor is too old for this.

So who the fuck is this and what have they done with The Get Up Kids? It seems unreal that this is the same band that made the album "Four Minute Mile". I really like what I hear on it so far though, it's different, but it's quite good. Completely and totally not emo or pop-punk in any shape, way, or form.

This shit is so good. I have no idea why it hasn't gotten more attention here on Sputnik, you'd think the Get Up Kids would be a beloved band around these parts.
I just love the new direction they've taken on this album. It's so fresh but organic, it's just....well it's just awesome. "Regent's Court" and "Shatter Your Lungs" haven't left my daily rotation in months.

Oh they are to me, but not with this album. This is not the get up kids as I like them.
