Guitar tone sucks. And his growls suck too.
Flawless performance otherwise.

The Moor sounds sooooo sick live

I started writing a review for this ages ago but got insane writers block and gave up; glad to see

this DVD was amazing, though it feels like Mike's growls have taken a step down...unless he did that cause it was a near 3 hour set.
sonic: check out My Arms Your Hearse and Still Life to start, then Blackwater Park

and it's Martin Axenrot...not Marcus

Just watched their performance of The Drapery Falls on youtube and it was very good, aside from the fact that the camera changed angles every 1/2 second for the entire video. When Akerfeldt is soloing I don't want to see the bassist or shitty views of the crowd doing nothing.

Good point Metallic I'll edit that. The DVD is very good for Advent and April Ethereal camera wise but the camera work in general is shocking

My Arms Your Hearse, Still Life, Blackwater Park. Every Opeth album is amazing imo. LONG LIVE OPETH!!! GODS OF METAL!!!

Ghost of Perdition; despite being a great song, I don't think it deserves to be elevated to the level that people put it at. Advent, Serenity Painted Death and so many other songs sit atop of it while Harlequin Forest and Hours of Wealth are the only Ghost Reveries songs to scrape the clouds.

I'd say Ghost of Perdition definitely deserves to be elevated to that level. It's fucking epic. One of my fav 5 Opeth songs easily.
