what tends to happen is i spend months obsessing over and excavating some niche genre while all of this other music sort of floats over my head; meanwhile i've listened to like 300 drone ep's made by forest people in Romania. but yea i'm finally getting around to other things like pop and punk and such.

I used to be more like this, trying to focus on well regarded stuff now. I don't want to be laying on my death bed regretting not checking out specific artists/albums & it's hard to have regrets about really niche stuff I've not yet heard of, haha.
