Listen to it at 2 am with the lights off and while you aren't doing anything else.

It fucking owns.

I am digging the few songs I have heard from this. (As a side note, Phineas and Ferb rule.)

So I threw on Nicholas, and the first thought was Underoath and then it just roller coasters all over the fucking place..Wasn't expecting cleans and there was some, and the guitar is fucking just amazing.

I have a very funny feeling this CD is the thing that is going to catapult me into heavier music again.

There are so many styles in this.

There's some Converge in Empire, Misery Signals in A New Aurora, Underoath in Nicholas...it's pretty nuts.

I hate sounding like a raving fanboy but it just feels like it pulls the best out of every genre and mixes it into one italian sounding mess of deliciousness, it's like they're cooking with all the musical genres they want, and creating some sort of ...fucking...cake...of...metal...or something

Nah man, this is one album that is deserving of raving. Especially for a debut.

good review willie.

only now after my third listen I detect some minor flaws of the record.
They're all valid issues, and that's why I've stuck with my "4".

Guess I don't need to finish my review. Nice work!
I was waiting, but it wasn't coming and I don't know you so I didn't know if you'd even follow through.
Well this line definitely sold me. Have this downloaded just gotta listen to it.
Well?
Good album. I don't know if it has any lasting power though. It seems kind of disposable. I'll try to

listen to it more for sure.
There's a lot to digest. This actually feels like it will have more longevity the more times that you listen to it (at least for me it has).

I can totally see this becoming a pet sputnik album within the next month or so, where it gets rec'd

on every metal list and has a 4.3+ rating after like 300 ratings, lol.

A 5 is reserved for a perfect album. This does have flaws.
