A lot of metal riffs seem mundane. These guys' riffs have so much personality and character. If that makes sense. The riffs in ''Abscission'' are disorienting yet extremely catchy. Great interplay in this band as well.

Abscission is in my top 10 favorite songs ever written. The riffs, structure, and atmosphere are so good. It's also probably the most accessible song DSO has ever written.
