I think from what I've heard I would agree. Might even go 1.5 because the whole CD sounds way overdone.

I think i've heard enough of this to form an opinion on it.
By far their best work if only for the fact that it sounds nothing like that god-awful emo dreck on their first 3 albums. Still not a good album by any means, though. Hell, not even worth rating.

G3N3RIC, I kinda agree with you. The "emo" style they had put me off (even though Gerard Way has said he hates them being labeled as that). Their older stuff always had something that made me listen and while Way's vocals sound great, I wanted him to tone it down a bit. I really wanted this album to be good because I like how they just wanna be a rock band now, but the songs are pretty hit and miss. And while their new look is really cool, there's only a couple good tracks. Damn what a disappointment.
