Dude, if I wanted to listen to a band sound the exact same as they do on cd, then I would LISTEN TO THAT CD.

If I want to see them be an actual human being, having a fun time with their shit, getting really into it/passionate about it etc. I'll see them live.

I personally think that Kesha is getting all the critics and shit right now on her back, building up on the hate and in like one or two years she's going to release something amazing, and the whole music community is going to be like WTF! so I'm giving her a bit more credit than I should right now, because I know she can be the outcast, she loves it, and very soon she's going to blow us away.

titus andronicus. there's a good live band. they make mistakes and don't sound nearly as polished as they do on cd (which is funny because they arent that polished on cd) but they fucking ruuule live

I prefer an artist who fucks stuff up sometimes but is so passionate about what he's doing. the thing that's great with live performances is that the mistakes show us they're human, and allows the public to be even closer to the band.

I think she made the executive decision to be the best troll ever, which I have nothing but profound respect for.

Wow, I'm so in love with her right now. I bumped the EP up half a point because I find the first half to be extremely solid actually. you just gave me more confidence in her with this song. Oh and I see what you mean for live artists, I get that.
