I somehow managed to get bored of Travels towards the end. Iunno, it's straining to be that emotionally earfucked for that long. Lost Ground is the perfect melodic punch in the heart at exactly the right strength and length for me.


However, Travels is still pretty fuckin' awesome.

Good review, rating is correct, and this is leaps & bounds better than Travels, and that's saying a lot for these guys, because Travels was fucking epic.

Travels punches you in the face first song, but I'm sticking with my assertion that Lost Ground is a much more concise package of hardcore badassery.


Now the question is, what do I review next? Means should be interesting, but I definitely know a lot less about it. Ideas, anyone?

Also, when reviewing seriously, I try to take out any effect my fanboy tendencies may have on my rating. It's damn good, but I'm not confident enough to say it's perfect.

I feel like this is 5-worthy but I don't love it THAT much. I prefer it to Travels for sure though.
