I find them to be rather overrated, and sloppy compared to other bands. They are considered Technical DM, but I dont find them to be anything specail. Death, Goreguts, Pestilence and Atheist in particular are much more talented. Plus their Once Was Not is horrible IMHO.

first of all, your formula is basically:
technically accomplished while being oblivious to the songwriting (which sucks) = classic

Time does not heal is among the most technically proficient Thrash Metal albums out there

where exactly did u see me complain that merciless is too famous? a band can be overrated without being exposed to a wider audience yknow. oh and by your logic if a band is too popular its automatically inferior to the other, less known bands
Also, I find It hard to take those seriously who rate Master of Puppets, or ANYTHING from cryptopsy a 5

Was that even a response? You hardly justify what you said earlier with your nonsense about Dark Angel, nor do you fully explain why you think Merciless is overrated. TDNH was not randomly thrown together, and was done with a precision than bands like Metallica, or even Megadeth couldn’t pull off. LOL.
