This album is top heavy. After the first couple songs it just becomes post-rocky in the bad ways. I still like it, but it feels shallow. That said, The title track is epic and wonderful. The composition is perfect.

I'm still not very familiar with the Deftones' discog, but i think i'm familiar with their general sound enough to say that She Was The Universe is highly Deftones influenced.
Outstanding album, made a return to this recently and it's still growing. This might just match Pelagial
