Agreed on all of those except for the first point. If you look through the endless Pitchfork Media list of the worst album covers of all time, you'll find shit that's a lot worse than this.

I'm a huge ETF fan and have no shame saying it, but this review is spot on. I agree with you 100 % I wish that Craig would do what we all want him to do and make this band as heavy as BTF was or heavier. His screaming and now his singing are both amazing.

i love escape the fate, but i have to agree that the lyrics, ESPECIALLY on city of sin, just disappointed me >.< some of the breakdowns that brian money did were just stellar, and craig's voice sounded gorgeous...but that couldn't distract me from the lack of good messages. i did, however, enjoy this album MUCH more than this war is ours. i honestly think the only 2 songs on there i liked were this war is ours and 10 miles wide.
