What's confusing? He changes up his atmosphere, style and tempo without changing his method of using his jazzy sound, but this album throws it away and with his ignorance of the dance genre tries the listener's patience

This has nothing to do with House; not entirely sure what you are getting at there. It is certainly very electro, very Ed Banger esque, but no, its not house, its not even close.

But yeah, it is bad.

"House is strongly influenced by elements of soul- and funk-infused varieties of disco. House generally mimics disco's percussion, especially the use of a prominent bass drum on every beat, but may feature a prominent synthesizer bassline, electronic drums, electronic effects, funk and pop samples, and reverb- or delay-enhanced vocals"

That wikipedia description could ring true as a definition for many EDM genre's - I can assure you, this album is not even close to house. Anyway, I was just pointing out that its not really a house album - it doesn't make it any better, thats all I'll say.

Pretty sure the review says that Squarepusher tries to rip off a house artist, not that this is a house album so i'm not sure what the hell you're complaining about

Fair enough, I'm drunk right now and Deviant is correct. I'm really saying he's trying to attempt to rip off Daft Punk or other better House albums and fails miserably.

I understand your criticism and it is warranted in some aspect.

the whole album sounds like it was thrown together by someone with no musical talent, it's kind of sad actually.
