The way I see it, a rating of 3 is good. I find the release to be really good, and I'm a Senses Fail fan, so I am definitely jamming this release a decent bit. I'm sure it will grow on me too.

great review. I absolutely love Let It Enfold You, but wasn't very fond of Still Searching and Life Is Not A Waiting Room, so I'm a little iffy on whether or not I'm going to try this one out.

Basically, presume 'LINaWR' never happened & believe this is the combination of their 1st 2 albums they were aiming for.

"Great review. I love the "out of the waiting room.." line too." Thanks FoML. To be honest, I was lost looking for a summary on this. I eventually could not resist the play on words with the album titles, but when I thought about it, the terms were actually semi-relevant.



"They scream again -> I'm going to have to pick this up". Yep. Off the top of my head, about 5 songs contain genuine screaming... Some of those, have a lot of it.

Scoot's 1st comment says a lot. This album & 'LINaWR' really do try to achieve similar aims. Yet, I can see people really liking this but only thinking its predecessor was ok at best.

I am almost certain you will like at least the heavier half of this album.

Yep, I mentioned that in the review & it's mainly relevant not because of the numbers, but because the album really needed something different towards the end... Mopst likely, a longer, experimental epic of some sort.

I've always been a little confused as to how bands like Senses Fail (& even more popular ones) can sometimes only release 1 or 2 singles. I guess it's for cost reasons.

To me, it all gets down to whether your music is being heard. I guess, these kinds of bands think there is only a certain audience for them & watching music videos is not the way to go. I disagree for the most part though... You just never know. Hell, I think the 1st time I even knew these guys existed was when the video to 'Calling All Cars' randomly came on.

I was really surprised with this album because for some reason I despise LINAWR, but I actually think this is better than SS. I've watched some of their live videos though and I wouldn't say they're very good...
