New one rules hard yeah, definitely in the higher half of the discog for me too. Could even be their best """""objectively""""" (production/performances (drums!)/writing) but personally I think it won't become my 1st. Of course I'm open to be proven wrong!

You never jammed these guys? They are pretty different from Alcest though, no melodic voices here, just lo-fi rage and walls of distortion.

I would say so yeah. The latest albums are a bit different, more shoegazy, and I'm not too familiar with the stuff in the middle, they have a shit ton of albums.
