has anyone ever seen the unedited version of this performance. It's even better than the edited version.

I have not seen it :-(. I want to actually see this concert, not just hear it. It must be quite the spectacle.

Nirvana isn't my favorite 90's alt band (my name could tell you that), but they were great musicians. Millions of fans and critics can agree, so don't come on here bashing them, your just asking for a lashing that you f**king deserve. If you losers got music that captures millions of people like Nirvana did, lets hear it, until then shut the f**k up.

Great musicians?
If by great musicians you mean capable of playing a few different power chords, then yes.

I'd say Kurt was on his way to becoming a great guitarist but kind of died before he reached the halfway mark. I myself would say he was a talented guitarist because I enjoy the riffs and whatnot. He was more of a writer than a guitar player, though.

to be quite honest, i thought the review was poorly written. the author used way too many of his/her opinions when judging the album. not to mention, how can you call the album a classic when you write the review and you have written criticisms about i dont know, maybe... half the songs? just use this as constructive criticism.

I have the full unedited DVD of this performance. No outtakes and all the banter between songs is fully intact. Kurt is a completely different person once they go into a song, in between songs he was very jokingly conversing with everyone and the crowd. Just wanted to point that little bit out in case others hadn't seen the full version of the broadcast.

The DVD is much better than the CD imo. It actually reveals flaws in the performance, but this only makes it more enjoyable for me (don't know why).

Maybe it's cos I know it hasn't been edited to suit the MTV audience, i just find it more satisfying to have the whole thing.

Yeah, the DVD gets a 5. CD gets a slightly lower rating because I really like the talking and stuff.

Jeesh, rather harsh on the first 2/3 of the album. Not a flaw on this one in my eyes, a delicious album that totally diversifies an already stellar discography
