Neighborhood 4 and Crown of Love are okay but everything else is amazing. Still grateful I saw them live in 2014 with seats right near the stage.

I've heard this album like a hundred times and couldn't hum 7 Kettles or Haiti from memory lol
Tunnels and Une Année on the other hand will be found inside my bone marrow when I die along with the good half of The Suburbs

imo Haiti's bassline and central jingle are two of the more memorable melodies here (and I fell out of love with that track a while back; haven't listened in years)
7 Kettles is a tad underrated (if terminally unhummable) but Crown of Love rly do be total gaff

Lmao jingle is a good choice of words for the main Haiti riff since it is misfiled in my mind as being from an Old Navy commercial or something similar

'sucks that these guys never made another album'
Haha. Well... erm, I did get into Neon Bible for a hot minute and The Suburbs is maybe actually quite good, although these half-arsed opinions may need revising in due course

Wtf Suburbs and Neon Bible are excellent, and Reflektor is mostly great too.

Band is in their "were they ever really good?" era. This too shall pass. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ

Hardly the first time a band went to shit
I like crown of love :3

Asking if Arcade Fire were ever really good is such a ridiculous proposition lol
Funeral and Neon Bible are both unquestionable triumphs, with The Suburbs closely behind them. Reflektor is a step down, but still has some absolutely brilliant moments.
Everything Now is an absolute stinker, but even that has a few absolute gems. WE sucks, but that can't change the past. Band should probably call it quits, but let's not act like they weren't justly one of the pillars of the indiesphere for a hot minute.

Haha those just happen to be my two least fav songs here too (alone with Une).

Win sounds so much like Isaac Brock on some tracks.

oh nice another band larkinhill just so happened to conveniently check out after the frontman so absolutely coincidentally got labeled as an abuser

Abuser is too strong a word for Butler, not all instances of making women sexually uncomfortable is violent abuse.
However, when you make an album as historically important as Funeral - probably the first or 2nd most important indie rock album of the 21st century, in objective measures - being a good person or not is extremely irrelevant.
