hey fuckwad. music is about passion, not skill. you don't describe the music at all, you just say things like "oh it has a lot of breakdowns, but not a super lot of breakdowns" or that the screamer is average because he doesn't have a lot of variety. next time describe the music and review it for the readers not just make it clear that it doesn't meet your metalcore standards. negged. this shit is pretty enjoyable metalcore compared to most shit out there. inb4 elitists who claim breakdowns aren't a part of metalcore. hey guess what, it's you guys that aren't apart of the music scene. go out to a show once in a while instead of sitting behind your computer screen

there are so many retarded things i could point out about your argument (especially because i actually like juns more than 95% of sputnik), but i'm going to try to avoid a rant, so i'll just point out me "not describing the music":

- "chaotic a minute-and-a-half interlude of sorts with some screams and heavy riffs"

- "They also use pretty much the same song structure in most songs, rarely branching out into good bridges or using timing changes"

- "The Collapse of Men and Surroundings feature a couple of good breakdowns"

- "Plagued is plagued by a boring first half, but rebounds nicely with some good gang vocals"

- "The main feature of the first half of the song is a pretty generic breakdown around the one minute mark. This would normally be a yawn of a breakdown, but it is flowed-into pretty seamlessly with a bone-crushing verse, and is then picked up by a surprisingly melodic verse with some gang vocals. From that point on, it is carried by robust screams and tasty guitar riffs"

- "Silenced started out very powerful, and was filled with potential until an absolutely derailing breakdown"

damn, you're right. i totally forgot to talk about the music. can i get that neg revoked because it's obviously from a moron?

for a metalcore album, this is pretty good. don't agree with you about "anxiety ridden" as I really enjoy that song. each to his own and all that jazz. pos'd.

This review reads like a 1. It doesn't sound like you like much of anything about the album, especially for being a fan of this type of music. That's totally fine, but the review and the score don't really match. You even write that in the review of why you gave it a 3, which I wouldn't write in a review. I'm not an expert but I would prefer not to have a explanations on the score. Just make the review read like the score. The introducing yourself part seems slightly wonky too.
