As far as metalcore is concerned, yes. 07-08 were not the best years for the genre though - that's when bands like Devil Wears Prada/Of Mice and Men/insert breakdowncore band name were gaining massive popularity in the UK.

yeah i was into some truly awful stuff back then. thankfully my taste changed but there are still quite a few bands from that era i cant shake off because they are too nostalgic for me (eg, Enter Shikari)
