El Scorcho is one of Pinkertons strongest songs, in fact I prefer the last half of the album.

I really am sad to admit that this album is terribly unimpressive. I wanted to enjoy it but it was just...so...bad.

Really?? Wow, I think you should give it a chance, it sounds like you've given it half a listen then switched off.

Good review! I bought this (along with the Blue album and 3 non-weezer cds) yesterday, and I really like it. Good indeed.

How did you deduce that from what he said? He just said it was unimpressive...

Not a day goes by where I don't listen to this album. I love this album. It's got it all. Definitely one of my top ten favorite albums

Everytime i see one of your reviews now, I think of Adam D. from KsE. Then I remember it's the guy known for loving Green Day and Radiohead. Strange...

Pinkerton's very theraputic for me for some reason. And I need it at times like this unfortunately.
Sometimes we get suckered in to drugs and alcohol and sex with women, mmkay, but it's when you do these things to much, that you've become an addict, and must get back in touuuchh....
Great film, and the reason I quote that is because a lot of this album, in one way or another, deals with Rivers' problems. Therefore I suppose it becomes very easy to relate to and therefore theraputic.

Or it's nice to play a great album in rough times.

I'm gonna go with the first one. This album actually brings me down a little bit if I'm in a good mood nowadays, but it's fucking magical when I'm depressed, which is why I will never lower this past a 5. I don't think something like Tool's Aenima would quite have that effect on me.

It's easy, mmkay!
