I think this review did the album justice. I especially agree with the part about dropping their creepy sound, but it not mattering, because it's still stellar. They're more rock oriented now, and I still love it. And Chibi sounds better than ever.

I think that if the song lengths had been extended the album would have been pretty bad, actually. The songs are great but there's not enough to justify longer durations.

I have a feeling that Violet will remain my favorite TBM album. I doubt they'll go back to that album's formula. As long as the albums are as good as this they can fight for 2 and below.
