Their singer sounds like Danzig when he screams on "Come Out of Her".

Gargled classic.

You're looking at the album artwork, the band's name, the genre tags, the low-profil page (band's
description, image, connection with other bands, are all missing), and you realize that this must be
a...pretty good album.

I wonder what these were like live? Me having a bash at karaoke I reckon but with face melting guitar.

Either like a religious experience or close to a total disaster if they're stoned out of their minds.

It being the early 70s they were probably perfect

Yeah probably. My only complaint with The Doors is that they never released an incredible live performance. For those who were attending their concerts it might have been the best thing ever but listening to a live album doesn't do that much for me.

I don't know dude. Them live recordings on that Danish show (or was it German??) are unbelievable. Morrisons vox are second to none.
Can you imagine seeing the doors live and through the smoke haze The End rolls over the crowd. Must have been life changing.

Oh that would be an out of body experience. The End, The Unknown Soldier and seeing Jim holler on When the Music's Over would be incredible.

Whose the one band you'd love to have see live at their height?
The one person I'd give anything to have seen in their prime is Hendrix.
The '60s, Small club that holds a few hundred and Jimi bowls on and cranks in. Nothing would compare.

Right on OvDeath.
Seeing Hendrix in the '60s when he was doing things nobody has seen on guitar would be something else.
My pick would be Deep Purple MK II during the Machine Head tour. Living that chemistry, those improvisations and extended jams and that magic in the air you were talking about a few days back would be a dream come true.
