You know, I just relistened to 2012 and I can’t believe how cheesy it is. The electronics that come in at the 40 second mark are absolutely hilarious

I went back and listened to this in full and had a couple revelations:
(1) I did not realize how prevalent and in your face the electronics were from this. I am embarrassed that I didn't see how cheesy this was back in the day.
(2) Telle's cleans AND lyrics are dreadful. He is so painfully average. This album would be significantly stronger with either all screams OR a better singer.
(3) The singles and heavier tracks on this still rule.

Lol I loved this back in the day but yeah the cleans, lyrics and OTT electronics have not aged well! 2012 is hilarious and then there’s also that dubstep break in the one about his father too which I thought was boss way back when and probably sucks now too lol

Despite both those tracks having missteps, they are still better than half the tracks on this and are fun AF. Specifically the Father one I don't remember being so much fun.

“Telle's cleans AND lyrics are dreadful. He is so painfully average“
I suggest you avoid any of TWA’s later projects, they are significantly worse than this.

I have unfortunately heard them all ... I was such a big fan of the Craig Mabbitt ep, Empire and to a lesser extent this that I held onto hope for way too long.

Telle uses the Trapt streaming numbers argument as a justification for not playing old stuff.
