Damn, I haven't seen a CD rated this low for a featured CD. Must be quite bad.

I don't rate albums I hate. But after seeing the video for My Own Life" I had to.

Scar Symmetry - Both words start with S, they mix REALLY poppy choruses with processed screams, build their songs around the huge choruses and add subtle electronics.

Sonic Syndicate - ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto.

When I first heard these guys I actually had a hard time diferentiating them from Scar Symmetry. If I hadn't known I could have sworn they were the same band.

the guitarists for Scar S are a lot better though, and both the vocalists for that band sound pretty different than this (these) guys. But as far as song layouts go, to me they are kind of similar in that regard i guess

Every pic of the band that I've saw has just sort of made me laugh. They all look like they went shopping at the same place. I'm assuming the bald guy is the singer? He just looks like a joke.

The chick is hot though.

They should have had Rebellion in Nightmareland on the album, just saying.

contribs and staff get automatic genre page features like that, it's a system that runs with our position as well as the release date of the album that's reviewed. That's the only reason mine is featured on the metal section.

Okay, I went back....... Neither of these singers ever sounded like M. Shadows. They don't use the same singing techniques, or even inflections. I'm just confused, now. But, hey, it's a well written review, I'm just nit picking.

I was thinking of checking out this band until I read this review. I think I'll pass.

Well, I finally checked this out on YouTube, and it kept pausing while the video was loading. I think I liked the silence best.

I dessagree with the screamings of sjunnensson, it sounds good for me. but otherwise, perfect review, how a band can go from average/good melodeath, to mainstream popcore

really? the screaming has always been an element of their sound that I just can't stand. To me he's nothing short of grating. Thanks

The best review, ever. Hilarious stuff!c I gotta admit they were my guilty pleasure but this new album along with the new singer is an insult to my ears.

Fuck them.

thanks sarajevo, glad you enjoyed the review

And while i was never a huge fan at all critics, i can agree that they definitely started better off then they are now. Eden Fire really wasn't too bad at all
