I wouldn't really call Rinoa post-metal but they're not a screamo band either...

How are they not screamo? The most similar bands I can think of to them would be like, Envy, Mihai Edrisch, Mesa Verde, September 22nd, etc.

Rinoa are post metal for me too dude, and mesa verde and envy are heavily heavily influenced by post rock.

But yeah this fucking owns, saw them with architects, songs were so good live, can't wait to see them for the 3rd time on their headline tour.

Fantastic review again. As the latest DSHS review. In my opinion, everyone - who loves rock and metal music - have to hear it at least once. Because this music is the way that a new band has to follow. Something special, something unique, something...called 'crossover'. This is a very important album for me, but i can't just listen to it...need to catch the feeling, the atmosphere. This is special, very special.

I might be seeing them then! 19th February?

But I love this album, I've been listening to it loads recently, and it's not come tiresome. It's quite calming, I think.

I wanted to see them a few weeks ago but Mudhoney were playing the same night so I saw them instead.

Still waiting for this to properly grow hence the 3.

I just heard "Tides", and I'm certainly interested now, to say the least...

Feels like post-metal with a really crappy mainstream post-hardcore vocalist.

Instrumentally they're all aces though.

Ed's a really good vocalist, he's just not everyone's cup of tea.
