Old Ghosts is a very underrated song.

Blown through the eye of the hurricane...
String arrangements really give an elegant vibe to the song.

That song gives me the emotional feel that I love about the trilogy

I'm not a big fan of this album. I bumped it up recently, and I'm not sure why.

Nah the highlight on here for me, Dun Ringill, is one of their best songs ever.

@Jamie, if it wasn't for Dun Ringill's lyrics, song would probably lose a big part of its value, may we say that...?
As for Roots, I invite you to relisten to 'Beside Myself' and 'At Last Forever' for a start...

It's lyrics are certainly a big part of the appeal but the song is beautiful in its simplicity musically and it's the combination of the musical subtleties, the lyrics and the vocal melodies that make it so evocative. Nothing on Roots to Branches comes close to that level of perfection for me.

I feel similarly about Flying Dutchman in the sense that both songs are so emotionally evocative.

Will relisten to Stormwatch. I make it a priority ;)
Btw, I know you're hard to please when it comes to modern prog, but I suggest you something that could be of your interest. It takes its inspiration from vintage 70's symphonic prog. I totally love it. Just try the opener if you will.
P.S; They sing in Italian, so adios the lyrics ;)
