Fantastic review… Except for “The Illusion of Safety is the perfect post-hardcore album”. Everyone knows Emery just recorded that.

Oh, and keep chasing that mechanical rabbit… It eventually breaks down.

Congrats on your 100th review. Though I've only been listening to Thrice for about 3 years, but really they were the band (and this was the album) which got me exploring the non-metal territory, leading me to discover Hopesfall, Strung Out and Propagandhi. I owe it all to this album, and yeah, Thrice rules, and I love every album except for Beggars, which sux imo.



PS: Now that I recall i guess it was your review of No Wings To Speak Of which made me get the disc...
