A. because while this album is classic in the way my current musical tastes got their start and the influence of the genre in a whole, certain aspects of this haven't aged as well as I would have hoped.

B. he did, I know zoo sent me a thing a while ago, but I lost all the info. I sent him a message but I think he's in basic training so dunno if he'll see it.

Congrats on 100!

I was BIG into this in High School...the appeal has kind of dipped away, but it's still a fantastic album nonetheless.

This is a good album but I've never been as enamored with it as everyone else seems to be. Maybe if I'd heard it back in 2002 I'd feel a bit differently; the comment about it losing a bit of punch in the face of similar bands over the years is quite true.

I'd nominate my cult favorite Num-Heavymetallic by Number Girl (also from 2002) as the greatest post-hardcore album ever; it sounds dramatically different from most of the stuff with that label but it's definitely spawned from many of the same influences (Fugazi, Husker Du, etc.)

Great review, man. I didn't get this till 2007 or 2008; who knows how much farther ahead I would be today music-wise had I gotten this back when it came out.

Artist in the Ambulance was my first Thrice album, although I was impassioned about music before then. But I totally understand how Thrice could be a great start. Love the review.

Really Nice 100th Review! Flowed great and was a joy reading.

Album is one of those that I discovered and loved (with time) thanks to sputnik. Somehow this band escaped me when I started getting into music.
