thanks Jared haha, I think so too...
I'm at a good place now, I think. no reviews for like 2 weeks or so, then a reviewing spree of 2-4 or so. I'll start getting back to 1 per week once my radio station gig gets going again

unless something new comes up that i'd love to cover, I think i need a hiatus for a while

this reminds me of new jonsi and is thus awesome
|
| |
It's far more raw than Jonsi's new record. It has more emphasis on acoustic guitar then Jonsi's record which is more piano and more string instruments.
It reminds me more of The Format-Dog Problems.

sure i'm just saying the vibe. obviously jonsi's record is fucking overblown with production

listening to this right now and enjoying it. tokumaru seems to be making a conscious effort to make it
[his sound] more accessible or at the very least a little more 'song-y'. can't tell if i like that or
not.
edit: seems like the songs that get rid of quirks are a little boring; but the ones that have them in
full are sort of going through the motions. pretty alright album.
