Yeah Sacred Worlds is up there with Somewhere Far Beyond and And Then There Was Silence as one of their best songs, at least after four listens haha...

HEY GUYS JUST A HEADS UP I'LL PROBABLY RANK THIS IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS

This was good, but I feel like I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the books the lyrics are based on. Being able to relate to Nightfall is the main reason it's my favorite of theirs.

Good review, although I'd have to replace all your use of Nightfall... with ANATO. Stoked for this album, pre-ordered it a few days ago.

I think that's probably why I liked Nightfall so much as well.

This band and kamelot are about the farthest that I'll go into power metal these days. I liked the review, and I may check out the highlights you mentioned

At least look into "Sacred Worlds" Jared, it's the best song they've done in many years.

Yeah Sacred Worlds and Wheel of Time are both two of the best songs they've ever written honestly.

Also A Night At the Opera is my personal favorite but it can be an intimidating listen. Imaginations From the Other Side is probably my next favorite, and it's pretty similar to this one except it's less focused on complexity and more on tight song-writing.

Twist in the myth is their most accessible and it's them trying to be commercial and there is nothing wrong with that.

The second verse of 'Sacred Worlds' is so so good. This is looking at a 4.
