I noted that album the other day... It's on the LIST (aka the f**ken BIG LIST).
|
| |
Put it on the f**ken top of the f**ken BIG LIST. Trust me, man. I'm afraid of hyping it up too much, but it's definitely very good.

Moving on up.

So I was mostly unimpressed with their debut, but this is a good step up. It's looking like a 3-3.5 atm.
|

ties, I rec you the same as I rec'd Davey. I'm seriously going to campaign for Sever Your Roots as AOTY.

Good to hear ttb, although I'd still be a tad disappointed if you 3 it.
Winsomniac, you sound very politician-like.
|
| |
Leaning toward 3.5. They've come into their own pretty well here. The instrumentation is a step up, and there's more diversity in the songs. It's actually something I want to listen to again. I still don't think it's quite as good as any Anberlin album, though, maybe their debut.

Strange, I've been told that several times on many different occasions.
Would you vote for me?

Well said ttb... & I don't disagree at all with all that you said.
LOL Winsomniac. Depends on the competition you have I guess. You know, lesser of 2 evils & all that.

Come on, man. I'm a sworn maximal. Do I look like a lying Cheetor to you?

And dyslexics usually do well in parliament.

Hey, man. I try my best to be grammatically correct. Except stylistically, of course. True to my AP English Teacher's words, hah.
Also, I've really been loving post-hardcore lately. May have to revisit this album.

I wouldn't call this post-hardcore... If that's what you were implying.
|
| |
I like this more than most Anberlin material. It just feels more sincere.

I wouldn't call Anberlin (relatively) insincere, but these guys are right up there with this album. I'm concerned that it did not get the reaction it deserved however.
