Bullet for my valentine are one of the best metal bands of the 21st century. They are british which is imense and are up the top with iron maiden as awsome british rock/metal bands (some of my dickhead friends class iron maiden as rock not metal).

First of all, yeah your friends are wrong Maiden are as metal as they get, secondly whilst this album was great for a debut Bullet then followed it up with a pretty lame album. Comparing them with Iron Maiden is stupid, firstly their sound is nothing like that of Maidens and secondly the guys from Bullet aren't even half as talented as their Maiden counterparts. It is comparisons like this that cause some people to dislike this band.

okay...
firstly, who the eff cares that they are british? That doesnt make a band any better then, say a band from Germany, Sweden or even bumblef**k.
Secondly you spelled "immense" wrong.
And i think the metal/rock thing is highly debatable. While they are rooted in heavy metal their recent albums and delved much more into hard rock style riffs and overall sound. The last tidbit like i said is debatable though.
