Brompton Cocktail is really the only good song on the self-titled. I guess Lost is fun though.

bodom, do you agree that the second half of this album slays the first half?

Nah, Afterlife is the best on the whole album.

Afterlife got really old on me. Take out the guitar leads and it's unspectacular.

And yeah, God Hates Us through Save Me is really strong. Victim's Chorus almost ruins the song for me though. It's all going along fantastically up until the lame chorus.

Listen to Cobus' drum cover on youtube. It's pretty cool.

Save Me is the best song though...it passes by pretty quickly in its 11 minutes. Strength of the World feels way longer to me.

Awesome review, Observer. The album is even worse than their self-titled imo.

good review, except for the fact that you couldn't possibly be more wrong. any fan of sevenfold should realize that this is an amazing album, and anyone who hates the band shouldn't even be posting on these forums in the first place. anyone who says this album lacks emotion or power, such as in "Fiction" is on drugs. Being a fan of the band since their debut, this song brought tears to my eyes. From start to finish, Nightmare is an exceptional album that surpasses anything the band has ever done in the past. And before you post a review, maybe you should check your spelling. Victim, (or as you put it, "Victims") is one of the superior tracks on the disc, and you not even spelling it correctly suggests that you didn't put much thought into your review. But what can you expect? I mean the band's best friend/key band member just died before their eyes, yet they still have the ability to throw out an exceptional album, AND tour for the remainder of the year. If you want to bash them for the music they put out, go ahead. But anyone who truly loves this band will support them regardless. FoREVer.
