I met the band before back in 2007, they were chill guys. I bought this cd afterwards and I got to say I prefer this more than Sol Eye Sea I. The last track is the best, the experimentation with the trumpet and bongos are cool, as well as the dissonant riffs they use in it. Irepress was also influenced by Hum, bet you didn't know that.

The band members are all really nice personally too. At least Shan is, he'll personally friend anyone on facebook and is willing to answer any questions you may have. He'll even just chat if you want

Good to hear. Oh, and your previous comment would make a great soundoff.

My comments being deleted makes many threads look ridiculous, such as my TROS review.

I loved this album when it first came out and i still do. I can't really say SESI is better or vice versa cuz i feel like they are both good in their own respects. This album was a tad more spastic and almost had a.d.d. at times while SESI felt more cohesive and concentrated without getting rid of the change-ups all together. I did quite like the inclusion of horns on this: they did it so well

I enjoyed this. seemed fairly disjointed, there seemed to be very little flow. it was still good and they can do some interesting things.
