Cool. Let me know what you think.

Edit: You're perhaps the only user (aside from Jethro) on here who's heard most of this stuff.

my sister got to see them live a while back, and she said that it was one of the coolest shows she had ever seen.

On their self-titled 3rd LP - & major label debut - Cincinnati sextet Foxy Shazam poppify their extravagant & campy genre-mashing for the sake of accessibility. The result is successful, with soaring anthemic choruses filling an album that is extremely fun & energetic. In front of fantastically hooky piano & horns, the bombastic Eric Nally strongly reminds of Freddie Mercury in both looks & voice. And while the highlights here are sensational, there is some Queen-like inconsistency as well. Yet, even on the filler, this LP is always entertaining & better than their messy previous releases. Recommended Tracks: Count Me Out, Oh Lord, Bye Bye Symphony & Unstoppable.

Yeah, the chorus's on this are huge and so infectiously catchy.

Gonna see them live in March. Judging by some clips I've been looking at, entertainment is the key word.

seems like a great show.. based on videos alone, Foxy Shazam really seems to have a great stage performance and it'd be hella fun to see them. Don't know about Anberling, but Circa Survive is good live, either (thats what one of my friends said, at least).

I'd go.

Is it just me, or does his voice sound like Freddie Murcury?

Totally. It's like Queen meets The Sex Pistols.

Unsure TMob.

So on Friday at Soundwave, I had to miss their 1st 2 songs as there was a small crossover with Slash (who played Sweet Child O Mine & Paradise City last)... I hurry on over to the stage where Foxy Shazam are playing & I see all band members except for Eric, but I can hear him sing... Then I see 2 legs in the air... He's standing on his head singing. That was just the start of it!!!
