This prolly has some of the best deftones has to offer.

Battle-axe, When girls Telelphone boys, Needles and pins, Good Morning Beautiful, and Deathblow are the gems of this album to me.

I love Chino's lyrics.

My favorite lyricist besides MJK.

lyrically chino gets better with every album and this album is no different. the songs are pretty moody e.g from "hexagram" to "minerva", "when girls telephone boys" to "aniversary". the moods are what confuse me the most about this, but its also what makes this album stand out.This Message Edited On 09.10.07

"Adrenaline" is the only album from Deftones that i like

Adrenaline is deffinetley their finest imo. This album is prolly to me their worst for me. I suppose if I had to choose my top 3 are Hexagram, Minerva, and Needles and Pins.

Am I the only one who enjoys Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event? It's in the same vein of Teenager, and it's equally as good.

I still like Around the Fur a touch more........nostalgia reasons. White Pony is so close. Digital Bath is one of the most haunting songs ever!

So after giving this some spins lately I must admit it is actually quite underrated. It didn't really grab me when it first came out; wasn't even that keen on White Pony at the time. I guess my state of mind was rather naive and shallow. But I'm really feeling the sinister, tortured and yet passionate vibe that has been talked about after putting this on after all the years. Also Chino's vocals are some of his more intricate and less accessible but that doesn't mean they can't hit you. This is their heaviest and probably darkest album to date.
