no surprise. pretty craptastic. had to listen to some of their older stuff to remove the bad taste from my ears

Exactly. This is very similar to the debut and Life Is Peachy.

really? i have to disagree on that. earlier stuff seemed to have better rhythms and melodies where the vocals and riffing were concerned. this one just doesn't measure up to their older stuff. chalk it up to hunger. i dunno, but something is definitely missing.

what i mean is that many of their earlier stuff was catchy. i mean the songs just jumped out at you and you could just vibe with them. maybe it was because the sound was fresh, but this album doesn't do that at all

appreciate them trying to recapture a piece of the past, but it's really an uphill battle at this point

you picked the worst one to listen to, lol.

i still will suggest the self-titled to anyone. it was just before they became popular, they were young and you could actually believe the angst.

now they're just some old guys having a bitch.

yup. I was pretty much sold on Korn after hearing Blind at the opening. rest of that album was very good though

personally, i feel like they peaked at Follow the Leader, but that's just me

Excellent LP where every song takes you on a ride. This is the album they should have made right after Untouchbles. Welcome back Korn

this album sounds great with the old sound back, some parts of songs even sound "follow the leader-ish"(lol if that makes any sense) but theres nothing really special that makes the record stand out, its a good solid korn album, a solid 3.5 nothing more, nothing less

Why can't this band just go away...?

dunno. might have to do with being rich, owning awesome shit and possibly fucking hot bitches. i'm not sure though, you should put that really well thought out question to the band.

Finally! a breath of fresh air from the band. Waited too long for them to make something like this again. Its not amazing, but its good. better than their last four albums.

It's truly remarkable just how many people think they can criticize a band without knowing the slightest thing about them. It's always the same, painfully stupid, tired cliche' bullshit: "duhhhhh....he whines about is childhood," "duhhhhhh...he's singing about being molested." Let me ask you people something: do you not understand singularity? One song written almost two decades ago does not constitute any level of frequency whatsoever. Korn is an extraordinarily innovative and unique band that has grown and evolved over the years and Jonathan Davis has written about a wide variety of subjects. No matter what he writes about, every single album that comes out people such as yourselves say the exact same things. WHERE are all of these songs you're referring to? Where are they? None of you have the slightest clue what you're talking about and it is more than obvious you haven't listened to Korn's music regardless of what you might say. Your so called "opinions" are beyond ignorant and completely uninformed. You're only capable of lying, exaggerating and generalizing. Don't expect to be taken seriously.
