Honestly, if it wasn't for the vocals, I would have given this album a 5. The guitar work, bass and drums however more than make up for them, and with excellent songwriting in the title track, 'Am I evil?' and the everlong 'Sucking my Love', Diamond Head's debut serves as undoubtedly one of the best NWOBHM releases ever.
