I think Relentless is slightly better than Returners. But this album did surprise me quite a bit.

This is so meh.
I had high hopes for it to based on the songs they'd put up prior to release. Sounds like hatebreed w/post hardcore/melodic hardcore riffs.
Their first ep was pretty good showed potential as did the album. They just haven't really progressed at all which is a shame.
Oh and FFtD's first album > anything TGI's done. Not by much but still.

Sounds interesting. I'll check it out (I should like metalcore, in theory, but rarely do).

This is a distinctly bad example of metalcore.
Well not bad, but just painfully average.

FFtD's first album > anything TGI's done
True true

They made the mistake of releasing the strongest two songs before the album came out. Expectations were pretty damn high after that, and the rest of the album isn't anything other than decent.

i like album art

decent at best

it's been 7 years since the release of "malice and magnum heart" by misery signals, and now we are blessed with generic crap like ghost inside and fallen of dreams..don't get me wrong while they're fun to listen to sometimes, it all gets to boring for me. At least shai hulud and signals are still trucking cus this genre def needs them..
|
| |
oh and i did very much enjoy the first ghost inside ep...but returners is just awful..

There's been a few bands who've done the whole melodic metalcore thing exceptionally well like Life in Your Way, Taken, It Prevails and more recently Dead Kings.
|
| |
eh all those bands kinda suck except for life in your way...and they're no longer with us.

For the Fallen Dreams has too much nĂ¼ metal-ness to them. I agree with bringon.

This album doesn't grabs me as much as FATFO, but I do like it

"Chrono" is so catchy... or at least I think it is. Solid release, I think fans will be pleased with it.

I'd never heard these guys before but this is really good. It'll be added to my gym playlist.
