What the shit, how can you call Andrea Loves Horses or Conversational All Star filler? They're both better than anything else on the record. They mix cool riffs and guitar effects with bubbling, glowing sound effects that even get foggy and wispy at times.
The other songs are good, mainly for the reasons you mentioned, (excluding post-rock 'pretentiousness,' which despite all the whining about it I have not witnessed one true example of) including riffs and 'conventional' post-rock ideas... but the atmospheric beauty of Andrea Loves Horses and Conversational All Star cannot be beaten.
