If the album loses focus anywhere it's those interludes after dreaming light until it gets to the amazing long songs

i don't see what people see in summernight horizon, i think it's one of the worst tracks on this record

It's the least cheesy (lbh as great as this album is it suffers from a serious case of cheese with all that life is amazing crap) and it's so cool sounding especially the chorus and atmosphere and sinister and amazing and fuck commas I love song

Just because they wanted to write about how great life is that makes it cheesy and crap to you? Kinda

of a nice, contrasting change of pace considering how bleak and gloomy Judgement was.

It works great with certain songs like Thin Air, but the four songs after Horizon are just really cheesy to me. The lyrics are just too obvious and not that great imo, it also has the swelling grand feeling that recent DT has that just sounds childish to me now. But it's not bad or anything and it definitely picks up after that with the last few songs.

Summer night horizons is easily one of the best songs they've ever wrote musically. Lyrically maybe not but still awrsome

The lyrics on that are better than most of the other lyrics on here, at least they're not wailing about how much they love life or whatever. But yeah the first two and the long songs are probably the best on here

Also, Dreaming Light is the best here.

Dreaming Light is unbearably cheesy. Can't get all the way through it. I love A Simple Mistake, though.

Dreaming Light isn't cheesy you cheese ball. Everything is a much cheesier track once the chorus starts. And nothing on here is as cheesy as the lyrics on Weather Systems
